Mumbai attacks!

The greed for power, the greed to rule over someone, and the greed to prove oneself right – is one of the main reasons for any kind of violence. And every human being is naturally born with it. I don’t want to take any sides - for me killing someone - for whatever reason is wrong – whether you are on the terrorist’s (freedom fighter’s) side or policemen’s side doesn’t really matter. Of course Gita (meaning Bhagwatgeeta) says, “righteousness should always win” – but we (as a citizen) can never know the real truth by watching biased media, and by listening to hypocritical political statements. The other side of the coin is always hidden. Gita also says – even a leaf cannot move without my consent – in that case deaths of both terrorists and policemen were part of the divine plan! I think none can deny it.

Violence has always been part of human civilization, and if we think that world will exist without wars – then we are mere fools. History is full of wars, religion is full of violence, and then why do we get so perturbed when there is a terrorist attack? May be the media blows things out of proportion many a times.

Of course I feel bad about 100 odd people who died in the mishap, but then I also feet bad for the 100 people who die of snake bites each day in India, and I also felt bad for 9000 farmers who committed suicide in AP during Chandrababu’s regime. Life is precious for everyone, and life is important for everyone – whether you die in Star Hotels, or die by starvation, or die in politically motivated religious fights – doesn’t really matter.

We think we tend to come together in time of crisis, and we think that is patriotism. In fact the very thought of being patriotic and the very nature to kill someone just for the sake of land is incorrect. If all agree to it, then there won’t be any borders - but then politicians would hate that to happen. They will lose power, and will lose all the avenues to make money for their generations to come.

I read a news article in Sify that the policemen who died in the mishap were already warned by the particular group – against their harassment towards their particular community and also towards women and children belonging to their community. No one is a born terrorist. If the situation demands even ‘You’ and ‘Me’ would take up violence. None is a nut to lose something as precious as life for dumb reasons. It just depends upon how far someone is pushed and how long someone is pushed. Everyone has a breaking point depending upon the situation. And who creates the situation is something that we need to think about.

We as individuals are biased in many ways too. We think only about what Osama did to the US, but refuse to know or accept about what the US did to the Islamic country. Women and children who died in 9/11 are no different to women and children who died in US attacks on Islamic countries. Life is the same everywhere! Then why do we think life of people belonging to a particular community or a country is more precious than someone belonging to other community or country.

I received a forward today about how Indian military force from all over the country came together to rescue the hostages, and how patriotic they were. But to be very honest – I thought it was their job for which we are paying our taxes. Being in military doesn’t mean you are patriotic. If tomorrow there is a curfew, and you are seen with more than 4 friends, they will be the first to put a bullet through your butts! Your nationality won’t matter much to them. They are there to take orders. And it was Indian Army, which pressed the trigger when General Dyer gave the orders to fire at Jalianwala Bagh massacre.

Good God the episode is all over – the media got good TRPs and websites would have got good page views. Newspapers and magazine would have made their share of money. For few days there will be few human interests stories popping from here and there, and another mishap and we would have forgotten everything. BTW do we still remember the plane hijack episode of 1999? I am sure you are ready to google already!

Life is a game!

I have been playing this game called ‘Tomb Raider Anniversary’ edition, which I think is considered to be one of the best games by most gamers. I should accept - it is really tough to crack few secrets. In fact I have fallen in virtual love with Lara Croft already. Just 2 days back I was stuck at one place for nearly 2 hours without knowing what to do next? Thank god - I somehow cleared the path and went to the next level. With more and more gaming – I have come to realize something very important about human life pattern. And I think there is a lot to learn through these computer games.

Games Verses Life

1) In game - When a new game starts or when we get into a new level we are completely clueless about what to do next. A good gamer presses all the buttons, and gets equipped first.

In life - when we start a new life or get into a new situation we are clueless too. We equip ourselves with education and experience to cope with the situation.

2) In game - Initially we move a lot slow in the game, because we are afraid of falling down or any untoward incidents. We tend to make hell lot of mistakes, and gain experience. And when the game restarts from a particular checkpoint – we are confident, and move a bit faster – because we have already gained experience by solving the same problems.

In life – we haven’t learnt anything without making mistakes. We made mistakes in spellings, we made mistakes in solving mathematic problems, we fell from the cycle, we dashed our cars and our loved ones ditched us. In the process we have gained experience to handle similar situation with ease.

3) In game - We tend to be over confident sometimes, and do a silly mistake and fall again.

In life – this is what is called accidents.

4) In game – 75 per cent of the hurdles are cleared with ease, but then the last 25 per cent needs immense perseverance. This 25 per cent can be solved only by not doing what you have already done, and by not getting irritated or frustrated.

In life – 99 per cent of the people hate to solve problems. They always want the difficult 25 per cent to be as easy as the rest of the 75 per cent. Few people fight it with perseverance and win over it, and few people quit and become losers.

5) In game – if you are stuck somewhere and don’t know what to do next. You can seek help. You can either talk to your friends, who already have played that game. Or google to find out walkthroughs

In life – this is where astrologers come into the scene. An astrologer, or a seer or an experienced person can guide you through walkthroughs – because he already has had the same problems, he knows the reasons, and he has solved the problems too. Hence he has all the necessary qualification to guide others from problematic situations.

6) In game – once you know that there is something called online help or cheats to solve gaming hurdles easily. It might become a habit - which isn’t considered good. You will seek help even before trying to solve your problems yourself.

In life – hence I always say – don’t get addicted to astrologers. Know your destiny path through astrologers and then surrender to the almighty. Later it is your life, and it your problems - have the guts to solve it yourself. Of course use the help only when you are clueless again!

7) In game – every new levels has new hurdles. The key function changes, and new set of rules apply.

In life – never think life gets settled after solving your existing problems. Once you solve your existing problems, you are taken to next level of problems, where the rules change completely. And you need to solve them too to reach the next level.

8) In game – when you clear all the levels, the game comes to an end. And you get few bonus games to play.

In life – when you solve your life’s problems, God blesses you with a karmic note

9) In game – when all the levels are solved, and when the game is over – you are no longer interested in the same game. You go for a new game.

In life – when all the problems of your life get solved, you die. And are reborn with new set problems – because you surely would hate to live the same life all over again.

Exclusive service for ‘existing’ clients!

Sometimes we have so many things to ask but then hate to go through the long process of getting our questions answered. Sometimes we are in a hurry, and we hate to wait. The world has changed, and people have lost something important called patience. In this regard I thought of a service that could be helpful for my existing clients who trust me and have faith in my predictions.

I don’t want to sound like a telemarketing guy to tell all about the service first, and reveal the price later. I thought Rs 5000 would be a justifiable fee.

Here is what you get –

*Yearly prediction 2009 – which comes free with this service
*Answers to unlimited questions related to ONE chart (ask only about your life, and not about your neighbour’s wife)
*Access to my astrological predictions all through the year via mail, phone, or messenger

Other important points to note

*Answers will be provided within 48 hours (that is I will try to)
*There would be no room for counseling and debates - I will just predict and leave it there
*Remedial measures will be provided only if I feel it is needed
*I won’t be teaching astrology or discussing astrological rules
*The consultation/chat will ONLY be astrological – meaning you cannot ask me who will be the next chief minister of Tamil Nadu
*This service is ‘only’ for people who have already consulted me and have trust in me

Please note – I would love to have a cordial relationship with you and always would want peace to prevail. It won’t happen that just because you have paid me for the year I would be dancing to your tunes. If at any time I feel that you are just trying to be smart – I will stop, and your money will be refunded completely.

If you are interested mail me at kennedig@yahoo.com

God Bless All

My gaming experience!

I think I started living my real life only after I quit my 9 to 9 job. Till then probably I swam in the opposite direction to succeed in life. And when I tried to surrender to the almighty, I did one simple thing – I turned back. I turned back to flow with the divine, and I am totally amazed at what God had to offer. Well I got my first payment check from Google Ads this month, and I got a Play Station 2 for my nephew with the money!

Just a couple of weeks back a student from MCC, for whom I had taken a lecture on Internet a couple of months back, started to chat with me. Through him (just 18 years now) I came to know how big the gaming industry is. In life I have always walked with a conviction that – you should not close yourself from anyone as far as information or knowledge is concerned. You never who will enlighten you when? And this guy enlightened me on the gaming industry.

I met another cousin of mine, who is 23 now, to learn how to play. And he helped me thoroughly taking me through many games he already has played and won – for few he took 2 months to reveal the secrets it seems.

I got a Play Station 2 at an affordable price, and have started playing. And to be honest - the experience is MIND BOGGLING! I have read news reports about how these games can affect your health, and how addictive they are. I dunno about the health part, but then they are of course addictive. And not that they are only for kids, even adults can enjoy it completely. And also it isn’t easy as it sounds - you need to have a lot of logical thinking and analysis to open secrets and move on to the next levels.

I strongly feel that if a child grows up ‘without’ a Game Console then he surely can be considered as a deprived child!

How do I handle this?

He is in the US now, and I had predicted that for him long back. I never quoted what my ongoing charges were, and always gave him the liberty to pay me what he felt right. He always wanted me to chat at odd hours (late night), when I usually don’t see charts – but then I did chat with him sometimes for free. And I think just because I am online on Yahoo messenger doesn’t that mean I should reply to everyone all the time. I am not a public person neither would want to be one. I have a family, and honestly I don’t find any valid reason to dedicate my life completely to the service of people. My honest opinion is Human Beings are the most selfish and self-centered creation that exists on the planet.

Well all this funda about life because I got a nasty offliner from him, which was followed by another one – which said – “I am sure you are completely pissed by me”. He was almost right. I was pissed off, but not completely. His statement only helped me make my stance clear to myself.

Here is what he sent –

“Christian plus Hindu in awe with Muslims and their culture (which is against the shastras) for earning money and open to support terrorist organizations against own country men! (were innocent people always become the target) Liking Hitler more than Gandhi who was an epitome of Patriotism and humanity!!

Moreover, against helping others and adding credibility by giving a innocous reason of mis-use of funds when not even donated even a single rupee yet!! Above all claiming to be a good astrologer doing service when like a pucca business man being callous during times of distress even to people who respect you in your profession!!

Time is not far off when you have to answer for the harsh words spoken and egoism shown towards fellow people!!“

Please people – I am not here to help any fellow people, or to solve their problems. There are enough Godmen, and astrologers to do that. I am here to do what the God asks me to do – nothing more and nothing less. I never took astrology as a career to help people or to solve their problems - but I was asked to take it up by the divine - whether it helps others in the process or not – is not my look out. I am not a social worker.

And about the distress part – anyone is in distress only because of his own selfishness and his own karma. If you have been sleeping with your neighbor’s wife, and get caught red handed by her husband - then it isn’t fair from your end to expect an astrologer to remain online, and sincerely reply to your query about what to do next?
