First day, first show, first row!
The much-awaited Rajni’s new flick ‘Sivaji’ released today and I had the golden opportunity to watch the same – first day, first show and that too sitting in the first row. What more could a Rajni’s fan ask for? Honestly life cannot get better than this. The show timing was 7 am, and three special shows were shown for fans alone. Thank god my brother- in-law had been a Rajni fan club leader since the childhood days I know him, and getting the ticket wasn’t a problem at all.
I had postponed my Tiruppur trip from 3rd to 13th so that I can fulfill one of my long yearned desires of watching Rajni Kanth’s movie on the Silver Screen before anyone could comment on how the movie was or before anyone could review the movie. And as expected – the experience was electrifying!
Rajni’s movies in Tamil Nadu are not just movies. They happen to be more important than any festival, where in every member of any family – children, women, men & the elderly – join the celebration with utmost joy and expectation.
I got up at 5 am, got ready, and reached the theatre at 6 am. The crowd was unbelievable, and the traffic was already jam-packed. The colourful posters and the huge cut outs of Super Star can only make one wonder – what could be the possible magic that Rajni possesses which makes him an entertainment God in India (now in Japan too).
The screen opened, and Rajni appeared on the screen. I turned around to have a glimpse of how the crowd reacted. And the celebration mood was 100 times more than when Sachin Tendulkar hits a four or a six of the last ball!
The whistles, the claps, and the applause filled the air with prolonged euphoria, which hardly came to still all through the movie. I am yet to see a movie - English, Hindi or Tamil - with so much of excitement from the viewers’ side, and I don’t think it will ever happen in years to come.
Rajni is undoubtedly the ‘Super Star’!
I don’t want to write anything about the story part now. The movie is excellent, and as usual a must watch. Rajni looks awesome, and you can hardly take your eyes off him. His style and punch dialogues are unparalleled. Director Shankar has done his job, and his magnanimous is seen in every scene!
Padam summa adurudhuleee!

The limited resource called – MONEY! – Part 1!
Money is a weird concept, and economics is even worse. We are the ones who have created money, and we are ones to crave for it. And the whole of life– one or the other way - we work towards making more money. Some would say money doesn’t interest them but they would stick to a high paying job, some would say they love money but get into a lot of philanthropist activity, and some would say better not be greedy about money but will possess acres of land!
There are only two worlds – the spiritual and the materialistic. If spirituality attracts you leave everything behind and walk to the woods - you can fast to death there. Or else you are left out with only one option - the materialistic world.
Now living in a materialistic world you cannot say money isn’t important for you. Your neighbourhood Spencer’s store would not provide you the monthly groceries for free if you give them lecture on the uselessness of money. Yeah of course by showing a disinterest towards money you surely can gain some bonus points and more respect from people – who otherwise themselves are behind money!
So the first lesson in life is to accept that money is important to you, and there is nothing wrong in accepting that fact. You might not need money for your own expenses – well and good. But then money might be useful for the people who are associated with you – your parents, your children, your siblings, your society or your wife / girl friend (preferably in the given order).
In the materialistic world (I keep stretching materialistic world because money loses its value in the spiritual world) money would get you – respect, fame, and happiness. None in the world will respect you if you are not making money – this includes your wife / girl friend, the society, your parents, your children, and your siblings (preferably in the given order). If you want to confirm this part – resign your job and sit at home for 1 – 2 years.
To be continued….
*There is no difference between the rich and the poor
*What’s the difference among earning, saving, generating and multiplying money

Manifestation through visualization!
I believe only in destiny, and I with authenticity can say that we are just puppets in the hands of the almighty – where the world is a stage, and we are enacting the role predetermined to us. Few would agree, and few won’t. It again depends upon your destiny – whether you will surrender to fate and flow with the existence, or keep struggling thinking you could change your life the way you want.
If free will is true then astrology becomes a fake. Astrology gets into your past, talks about the present, and predicts about your future. And for a synchronized flow about your past, present & future – the pattern of destiny has to be broken. Of course it is not possible to break destiny patterns every time with 100 percent precision. There are human factors involved, and God doesn’t want anyone to be more powerful than Him.
I was chatting with one of my friends yesterday, for whom I had told a year back looking at her horoscope about how her inclination towards spiritual subjects will increase in days to come. She was too busy with her job/career when I told her this. And yesterday she was talking about the meditation classes she had attended recently, and how it has helped her in many ways. In fact she was talking more spirituality than me.
During the chat the conversation shifted to manifestation through visualization. Most spiritual masters and meditation Gurus talk a lot about how to manifest things through meditation. It is true, and I accept it that you can manifest things through visualization. If you can manifest things through visualization then how come destiny cannot be win over?
Here is an example. From today try visualizing yourself as becoming the Prime Minister of India. The moment I say this, you would say – you aren’t interested in politics! Now what makes you say that you are not interested in politics? It is your planets. You can visualize only those things, which the planets allow you to. Start visualizing yourself to become the next Dhirubhai Ambani, and take my word you will never become one!
I never wanted to get married. But then when the event was destined, my thoughts changed automatically. For instance if you want to buy a new car or a new house or a new gadget you can start visualizing, but then you will be able to visualize only when you are destined to get them. Hence manifestation of visualization will happen only when the planets allow you to visualize.
Thoughts lead to action, and action leads to result. That is how we have been trained, but then only the reverse is true. The end result prompts you to act, and you act because you are made to think, and you think because planets want you to think.
Take this example. On the superficial level - you start having problems at your present company, and you decide to quit the job and find another one. And in another 3-6 months you get another job and you move on. And you think you got a new job, because you visualized it.
Here is the astrological angle – you were destined for a job change in the next 6 months, this will create problems in your present office place, so that you start acting on it. You start acting by sending your resume across, and you get a new job – for which you were destined to!

You cannot learn without making mistakes!
They say until and unless you make mistakes you will never learn. But when you indeed make mistakes – it leaves back a yucky feeling in your mind, which lasts for a very long time. Sometimes mistakes lead to fear. Sometimes it creates rebellion, and sometimes it gives you more confidence. And for me it has led to a mixed feeling. In fact I was feeling perfectly alright till I rammed into my apartment’s electrical meter box and broke the door with the car I got recently. Instead of stamping on the brake, I stamped on the accelerator!
The vehicle was stuck and I could not move an inch. I was already sweating, and had the least idea about what to do next. And a lady living in our ‘Co-operative’ Housing Society came running to her window and said – you have broke the door, now you have to pay for it! I never thought that a common fucking electrical board could be more important for someone than people in trouble. I surely would pray for her husband’s mental peace and over all stability.
That was not all for the day. Fear should not stop you from anything they say. And I recollected Gabbar’s famous dialogue- Jo dar gaya, woh mar gaya…and took the vehicle once again in the evening, and this time to one of the most traffic prone areas in Chennai. I think I was on track, but then a bus took a sudden left, and broke the car’s rear view mirror. Both – the bus and my car - were stuck together for about 10 minutes on the busy road, and the scene looked as if two dogs were stuck to each other while having sex.
I went completely blank. Some 20 people including the bus driver and the conductor gathered to solve the problem. They kept talking, giving ideas, and I could not hear anything – I went deaf. I simply don’t understand why mind stops functioning in these kind of situations! After few minutes - it was all over, and we reached home safely after having the dinner sponsored by my mother in law.
I don’t know whether I have learnt driving properly, but then I have learnt one thing for sure - that you cannot learn without making mistakes. And that minor accidents are part and parcel of driving cars or riding motorbikes. No wonder – I have already fallen thrice from my motorbike – once hitting a white dog before getting a license, the next time hitting a black dog after getting a license, and third time an Ambassador hit me from the back!
Note For Animal Lovers – Both the dogs were not injured in the accident!
