His Visa got rejected and I got dejected!

Until and unless people get one tight slap directly from the God, none realize ‘His’ presence. I am sure out of 10 readers of my blog, 9 think I talk crap, and few even think I am a fraud. Not me per se, but because I have taken up something that the pseudo scientific minds of modern crowd cannot accept. They think that it is outdated long back – I am talking about astrology here! Of course even I got a tight slap a couple of years back, which made me drop my Bsc Chemistry & MA Mass Communication mind set, and take up astrology full time!

In fact a guy sent a mail to one of the leading bloggers asking her to remove my link from her site, saying I am a fraud. Huh. He neither consulted me, nor would have consulted any other astrologer in his life I am sure. Thankfully that blogger happens to be my friend/client, and she refused to remove my link – for she knows that I don’t predict from thin air. I use horoscopes invented by our great saints to base my predictions – which most of the times work perfectly. If I go wrong in my prediction that simply means that as a human being I have erred and doesn’t mean that astrology has ever failed.

A close friend of mine (another blogger) referred another friend of his to me. Yeah, my friend never believed in astrology nor had any trust on me as an astrologer. But since 2004, he has been consulting me regularly, and by God’s grace most of the things I told him looking at his chart have come true. If not then why would he refer his friend to me?

His friend met me a month ago, and looking at his horoscope I told him that he will go abroad around November 2006. He was expecting something from Malaysia, which eventually got cancelled after he consulted me. He later got another assignment from another country, which looked very positive. But then his Visa got rejected at the consulate. He met me once again, I saw his chart, once again said the same thing – “astrologically you should go abroad around November 2006.”

In fact he was going abroad to attend a seminar, which already had started, and he was busy here applying for the Visa. He applied for the Visa once again, and once again his Visa got rejected. He called me to say, his Visa got rejected, and they need some special letter from the other country, which might take a lot of time. I asked him, what is the other option, he said he can apply as a tourist, but then that could create more problems, because his Visa has already been rejected.

I checked his chart once again. Though I told him he would go abroad around November 2006, till October 21st, he wasn’t running a good time astrologically. And the last time he had visited me was October 18th.

The feeling of my prediction going wrong is the sickest feeling I get. I understand that not always would God help me to predict right, and to err is human. Also most astrologers can only try to reach perfection, but can never become perfect for God limits human power by making him prone to commit mistakes.

This time I thought I should pray for him, so that the temporary delay gets resolved faster. And that when he calls me the next time, he should call me to say that his Visa is approved…

Day before yesterday, I got a call. He said, he had gone to the consulate, and they rejected the Visa once again, and asked him to bring the letter they had asked for. He went home, and received a call from the consulate in half an hour saying – there is no need for that letter. Kindly come and collect your Visa! He has booked the ticket for Sunday, and is meeting me tomorrow to say adieu!

“This blog is not to glorify my achievement as an astrologer, but it is to glorify all those people, saints & rishis who worked & died to save this wonderful Indian art and to have handed over the same safely to the generations to come.”

Long live Indian Astrology!
