Weird genre of people I come across – someone who called me a whore!
I come across various kinds of people everyday – through yahoo messenger or mail or by direct consultation. And a special genre of people always surprises me. Off late I have started seeing a particular pattern in them. Though the number of these people getting in touch with me is negligible I thought I could write a blog about them so that I can send this particular URL to them, whenever some others try the same stunt on me.
To be honest it is very easy to irritate me. Just call me a fake astrologer, or say that I don’t know anything about astrology – I get damn irritated. But there is no need to spend money on the Internet or waste your energy and time in useless conversation to bring me in a bad mood.
Some industrialist from Coimbatore buzzed me on Yahoo messenger. He started his conversation, saying his son is facing some problems in his marriage, and that they have met a lot of astrologers but nothing worked out. I said fine, I don’t mind doing the reading for your son. Kindly remit my fees in my ICICI account, and get back to me. I am a bit particular about my fees these days, as there are few 100s who have told me that they will remit the fees after the reading was done, and are missing from that day. (I am not blaming anybody, but that is the mentality of most of us).
He asked me, “why don’t you drop at my residence for Diwali”. I said I am not celebrating this particular Diwali, but I will be in Tiruppur (a small town near Coimbatore) during that period. He said he will try to meet me. Things ended there with a good note.
The next day he buzzed me again, and sent me a not-so funny joke. I said I am a bit busy, and moreover I didn’t understand the joke. He said, “you are an astro then you should be knowing.” I said, “to be honest I don’t have time for jokes now. I am middle of something.” He said, “so you busy doing charts of people who paid you? You seem to behave like a whore!!
I was a bit taken back. I made it clear to him saying, “I told you that I will do your son’s chart, provided you remit my fees beforehand”. And he replied with arrogance, “so how much money do you want?” And I said, “not a fortune, but just Rs 500. And yes I am a whore – no service without payment.”
May be he is a big industrialist sitting on a few millions. But who cares? For me he remains a beggar who could not pay Rs 500 as my fees, and wanted a free prediction for his son using his manipulative mind.
Of course I do free readings for many people. But then it has to be my decision about whom I chose. Surely I won’t be doing free readings for strangers who make few lakhs a year - how much ever big their problem is.
K_a_n_n_a_m_a – the next weird person I met….to be continued…
