Friend/Client gets into Star TV as predicted – part 2 (Final)

I had predicted that he would get into Star TV, and that he can expect interesting & positive news on his job front before June 30, 2005. Star didn’t call up, but my friend got permanent in the existing organization - which of course they made him as if they are doing a BIG favour. More than getting on the roles, he was happy about the salary hike that was part of the deal. We had decided to meet up in the month of July, if nothing worked out till June. It was already July 7th, and we had not met as yet.

On July 7th, I had gone to buy a Sify Dial up CD – the unlimited package (which has nothing unlimited about it, you can browse for just 6 hours in a day). Just behind the Sify Iway, I was watching a cook tossing the rumali roti in air, and just behind him I saw a familiar face waiting for the lunch to be served. It was my friend, and as destiny wanted we met up in the first week of July, even without personal effort.

My friend said he wanted me to check his chart once again, and that this time he wanted to pay me as well. He had in mind that may be my prediction didn’t come true for him because he didn’t pay me the last time! Well...I said if he insists I don’t mind. At 2 pm we fixed an appointment to meet up in the evening by 6 pm. And exactly at 4 pm, he got a call from Star TV that they wanted him to come for a final interview, and they needed a journalist urgently in Mumbai. Now that was indeed a miracle for me and him too.

As per plan, we met in the evening at my home, and his chart clearly showed that he will have a major lift in career, and that he will change his place of residence too. It was just a matter of few weeks.

He had to fly off to Mumbai for the interview in the next week itself, he got selected, and was asked to report on his new job on August 1st 2005 itself. He quit the previous organization amidst hell lot of problems. And now he is settled happily in Mumbai.

It is long time I got a mail from him – may be he is too busy with the present assignment!
