My poor friend Rajan & weekly prediction Just For You!

Rajan , my newly wedded friend invited me for dinner last Saturday. I know him since the day he used to hide Rekha?s Yahoo chat window from me, as I used to sit just next to him in our office chatting to a US babe. They were going around for a while, and I was glad they got married too. Rekha, as other women, never wants her hubby to smoke, booze or to have that yuck Manichkchand masala, while Rajan as any other man makes all those false promises and gets away with it too.

Continued after your predictions for this week ? valid from Oct 18 ? Oct 25

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Though you would feel a bit lost this week about what exactly has to be done on your job front, you will come out like a phoenix. You will have a new zeal of confidence and a renewed vigour in pushing your ideas to the concerned superiors, who otherwise turn deaf ears.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You will be in a dilemma about an important decision about work this week. The problem is that you are giving equal importance to both the options available. Try chalking out the pros and cons after discussing with a special person at home, and take a decision.

Gemini (May 21-June 21)

It is ok if you are a bit diplomatic in handling situations at work. There is no point in keeping your innovative ideas to you yourself, expecting people to come to you begging. None really cares. Go ahead and push yourself hard to get known.

Cancer (June 22-July 22)

It is a celebration time for you. You will see new positive changes in your life, and also an old phase will come to an end. Don?t worry to let go of your past, for you surely will be blessed with a new and exciting assignment in the near future.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

This is a fantastic week for you as far as your work is concerned. A promotion or a salary hike or change of roles and responsibility is very much possible. You will feel like a boss, and if you are into marketing ? you will be able to close an impressive deal.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Don?t bother about the people who take away the credit for the work you have done. Wait for your chance, and you surely will be recognized for your hard effort. Keep a safe distance from people of the opposite sex, as there is a possibility of sparking of an instant romance.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

A divine interference is foreseen that will bring a MAJOR change in your life on the career front. Your ideas and dreams that were dormant for a couple of years now will take a positive change. Do remain patient, and wait for the divine to guide you.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

It is a great week ahead for all the Scorpios out there. Your confidence will remain high, and you will be damn aggressive in carrying out your job this week. You will be a commanding position, and your ideas will be implement perfectly by your peers and subordinates.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

It is the right time for you to bring all the wrong doers to book. You surely will be able to succeed in defeating your peers, and spear ahead. Try not to cling to all that you know and have. Share your knowledge and expertise, and you will be largely appreciated and accepted.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

You will feel as if you should throw away your job and walk away now. But then patience pays a lot. You can take a break for a couple of days, and come back with a renewed spirit. This week do something that reminds you of your innocent childhood.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

An old phase is coming to an end paving way for new things to happen. Don?t worry if things do not seem to go your way, as it is just a transition period that you need to adjust to. You will be in a position to take a job related news to home this week.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

A new job offer or an interesting assignment will come your way. Hence, keep your sense open and options too. Don?t try to shirk your responsibility to others, and also don?t try to ignore people around you. You never know whose help you will need and when.

My poor friend Rajan?continued?

We met up at Tidel gate sharp at 6, as we had planned. None delayed, as we also happen to be former NCC cadets and punctuality is one thing we learnt in our 3 years rigorous training. He was on Rekha?s new TVS Scooty with visibly prominent ?L? board, and I followed him on by bike. He could not see me on his rear mirror, as I was following him exactly in one straight line ? I usually think I am a perfectionist.

He bought a Manickchand Gutkha (which is easily available in Chennai even after the ban), and filled his mouth with half the packet. We drove for 2 kms, and Rajan stopped. I asked what now? He said, time for the other half. He emptied the packet, and we drove again for 2 kms. He stopped again. I asked what now, and he took a water packet, gargled and unwrapped a Halls for himself. He honestly agreed that he spends Rs 2 on the Gutkha and Rs 4 to cover it up.

I pity Rajan, not for his plight if Rekha reads this blog, but because he still has not succeeded in giving up the habit of chewing pan masala, which is considered to be worse than smoking or having booze. Rekha do something!
