Interesting incidents with my clients!

One of my friend astrologers E K Dhilip Kumar , has started his own blog. I take this opportunity to welcome him to the bloggers community. And honestly he is one of the astrologers to have predicted that I will be a famous astrologer!

She came to me because she was not having a kid for a couple of years now (don?t get dirty thoughts). I checked her horoscope, and I found a very bad planetary combination for kids. I predicted that she wouldn?t be having kids for 5 years at least. I also convinced her that MIRACLES happen, and God?s decision is above all horoscopes. I gave her a mantra to chant, and asked her to pray with complete dedication. Just 2 weeks later, she came to me saying she is pregnant! I said that indeed is a miracle. And that was the last day she looked at my face.

I could not understand why she was avoiding me. Later I came to know that she wasn?t happy with my prediction because I had predicted that she will not have kids for 5 years. She graciously forgot about the other things I told her?the God part, and the mantra I had suggested.

There are others who indulge in unnecessary debates and challenges. One of the guys came to me asking whether he will buy a piece of land this year. And I predicted no. He bought the land, and came to me asking now tell me what you say? I didn?t understand what he was trying to prove.

Most people think that astrology is an art/science, which is invented by the astrologers themselves and that their predictions are based on their own theories. It isn?t true. Astrologers just have taken the time to understand the rules and combinations that are available in Indian scriptures. And they just do a reporting job. If certain rules don?t work in a person?s chart it isn?t astrologer?s problem. It is similar to a doctor?s profession if few medicines don?t work he cannot be held responsible for the same it is ultimately the seeker?s destiny.

Recently, I got a mail from one of my friends, saying his friend wanted a reading to be done by me. He sent me 4 questions ? about career, marriage, wealth, and the first question was LET ME KNOW ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD. I was a bit irritated. You surely don?t go to a doctor and ask him to tell you about the illness you had last year, before you consult him. I took some time. I was meditating one day, and got an insight that he would have had problems with his parentage. His father either would have left the family or died when he was young. I made it a point that, I won?t open his horoscope, before I got a feedback on my first question. Incidentally, his father had left his family when he was young, and he wasn?t sure if he alive now. I passed my first test?the test of testing.

Most people believe that astrologers are a bunch of nuts who fool people by giving false hopes. My brother in law is a beautiful example to support this. He keeps telling me that he wants to become an astrologer soon, because there is good money in the business and that people are so easy to be fooled. Remember you cannot fool all the people all the time, and none has the time or money to get fooled by an astrologer.

People tend to believe in astrology or any other divine science only when they come to a point when they start accepting that few things are beyond their efforts. You slog your butt and your boss gets a promotion, you invest in the market with intelligence and you lose money without reason, the scan report said the kid is fine and you spend a fortune on its health, and there are many other reasons when people come to an astrologer ? till then they are happy as a skeptic.
