Why I don’t carry a mobile phone
People have called me a pervert, and I have been highly criticized for having a bit of outright sexual content without much of diplomacy in my blogs. But as expected my yesterday’s article on gay and lesbians got the maximum page views! End of the day the truth remains that people do love to read and indulge in sex but when it comes to accepting the fact they shy away.
Here are few reasons I don't carry a mobile phone....
Mobile phone is one of the best inventions mankind would have made in the 20th Century. It is a journey from fantasy to reality. It used to be a gadget in the US made Star Trek, and today it is in the reach of anyone who wants it. The only persons who don’t seem to carry mobile phones are beggars - rest all have it.
These are few reasons why I don’t carry a mobile phone –
*I don’t want to break my head in upgrading the ringtones after every music release.
*I don’t want to be cursed by the fellow riders/drivers, if I answer a call riding with a tilted neck.
*I don’t want to look like a hearing impaired with those wires and headphone hanging around.
*I don’t want be looked by few 100s in a theatre if my mobile glows in the dark, when the best scene of the movie is going on.
*I don’t want to lose my temper with those service providers whose only job is to make mistakes in telephone bills
*I don’t want to waste money on wireless communication, when my landline is just lying beside me
*I don’t want to compare my sizes with others…I am talking about mobile handsets.
*I don’t want to desert my wife and my daughter when we are at a hotel by answering to some stupid calls.
*I don’t want to show myself busy with the mobile phone games, I better would watch a chirping bird or a beautiful sunset.
*I don’t want to forget my mobile phone in the loo and search for the same everywhere.
*I don’t want people to look at me when I take the smallest thing out – am again talking about the mobile handset.
*I don’t want to be called from my office place asking about my pending jobs.
*I don’t carry a mobile phone because I don’t think I break a 1-crore deal everyday.
I read a news story few days back wherein a UK guy sued his employer just because he called him at the wrong time. What would this wrong time be? He was on the verge of shooting (hope you understand what am trying to say), and he got the call from his employer! That should be the LAST thing that should happen to me!
