The Zen philosophy says ‘Empty yourself and let the divine flow through you’, and that is exactly what I am trying to do. I am in the process of emptying all that I have know, all that I have read, understood, discovered and invented so that when I leave my body there is nothing that I have held back.

I have come across few people who hate to share the knowledge they possess. They think sharing few tips about Photoshop or guiding you through HTML editor could make their job look easy, and probably you will learn everything and become a challenge to them. Thank God Thomas Alva Edison never thought on similar lines; or else his house would have been the only house to have electricity and a light bulb.

The more you give/share, the more you get..that has always been the rule of life. And I learnt it from my astro-spiritual teacher. All that you know is borrowed, and when you die you need to leave it back. So what is yours? They are hard truth - NOTHING & NOTHINGNESS!

My sister had broken a deal with the Mayajaal (a multiplex in Chennai) people that I will be doing a Tarot card reading for the people who visit the multiplex during one of the festivals that took place in Jan 2004. I was given a cute traditionally designed stall, and I was all set to zap people with my astrological skill. But I never knew what was in store for me was an anti-climax.

A dark, 6-footer was the first guy to enter my stall and I can see the excitement on his face for the reading I am going to do. My sister was sitting beside me. I shuffled by cards and asked him few questions, and the conversation went as given below…

I: You would have done your degree in some arts group…true?
He: NO! I am a MTECH!

I: At present you will be having a lower segment car…true?
He: NO! I have 4 cars…Ikon, Sumo, Quallis, & Estate!

I: You would have had a love marriage..true?
He: NO! I had an arranged marriage!

My confidence was shattered completely, and I felt like a fool amidst my client and my sister. The first few questions are the most important part of any astrological consultation. If he fails to crack that, he loses the clients’ confidence at once..and whatever he predicts after that doesn’t hold ground.

I didn’t know what to do. I returned the money, and said I am sorry it isn’t working for you. He was completely upset, not more than me though, and left the place. I looked at my sister, and even she was completely lost. It is like you have taken the plunge middle of the sea and suddenly realize that you aren’t able to swim.

I recollected what my teacher had told me during my astro classes - whenever you are in trouble pray God, and things should be clear. I trusted him completely and did exactly what he said. I closed my eyes and started praying, and I got a magical insight. I started seeing human lives in patterns and it was like getting a crack code for new software.

I realized that the people who visited Mayajaal spending some Rs 250 per head should have particular life patterns, and I got the pattern right. 90 per cent of the people who visited Mayajaal that particular day had the following pattern…

*All of them had a dazzling career history they either were BIG businessmen or VPs of big companies. It was easy to differentiate between them too. A businessman would wear branded clothes in the most unconventional way, probably with his slippers on and not shoes. And the VP would not compromise on the way he carried himself. That was how I predicted the past, present and future of Infosys VP who sits in Bangalore.

*All of them had an arranged marriage, and most of their wives were housewives.

*Their life would have changed drastically after their marriage for the better. And they would have got a huge life in their career. And it was true for all the 150 people I did the reading for.

*They would have had children in the first 2 years of marriage, and at present would have 2 children for sure. Tarot cards helped me to tell the gender of the children in the right order.

*They would surely have a higher segment vehicle, and also house in a prime locality.

5 right things about the past, and people were already awestruck. Later I used my Tarot cards to predict about their future and suggested few tips to lead a great life. The best complement for an astrologer is when his clients bring others for the reading, and that happened too. Few people brought their friends and relatives for the reading…and I was really happy about what was happening. I should say it was a major hit at Mayajaal.

Since then wherever I plan to go to do a reading, I try analyzing the pattern in which people fall. It becomes easier to gain the confidence. Like for example 90 per cent of the people who are reading this blog should be net savvy or should be working for an IT company for sure ;).
